Traditional Chinese ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a medical technique usually involving the shallow insertion of needles through the skin at particular points on the body (called acupoints). There are many different kinds of acupuncture, involving different kinds of needles, different insertion points, different techniques, and the use of various accompaniments such as electricity or moxibustion.

INJECTION THERAPY

Injection therapy involves using a needle and syringe to inject anesthetic, corticosteroid, opioid or other medication into a person's body to relieve pain that does not respond to other forms of treatment. It is usually more effective in treating acute pain but may also be used to treat chronic pain.
During these treatments, medication is injected into the soft tissues, joints and other areas in and around the source of a patient's pain.
A combination of anesthetic (to relieve pain) and corticosteroid (to reduce inflammation) is used in most injection therapy treatments. In some cases, an opioid (narcotic) medication also may be used to enhance pain relief.

AURICULAR THERAPY

AURICULAR therapy, or ear acupuncture, is a form of alternative medicine based on the idea that the ear is a micro-system with the entire body represented on the auricle, the outer portion of the ear. Ailments of the entire body are assumed to be treatable by stimulation of the surface of the ear exclusively.
Similar mappings are used in reflexology and iridology.

CUPPING

Cupping involves the application of suction to the treatment area through the use of glass, plastic or bamboo cups.  It is used alone or as an adjunct to acupuncture.  Cups may be left in place for a short time or moved along a muscle group.   Moving cupping is often applied to the back to encourage circulation and relief muscle tension and pain.  Stagnant blood, waste material and toxins created from injury are drawn to the skin surface which allows new blood and nutrients to enter the area and promote healing.  Red or purple coloration indicate that the internal stagnation has been effectively drawn to the surface.  This therapeutic side-effect will resolve in a few days.

TUI  NA  Medical Massage

Tui Na uses rhythmic compression along energy channels of the body, as well as a variety of techniques that manipulate and lubricate the joints. Like acupressure, Tui Na directly affects the flow of energy by holding and pressing the body at acupressure points

QIGONG

Qigong is a powerful system of healing and energy medicine from China. It is the art and science of using breathing techniques, gentle movement, and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate the life energy (qi).
Qigong practice leads to better health and vitality and a tranquil state of mind.

In the past, qigong was also called nei gong (inner work) and dao yin (guiding energy).
